Electronic Communications

 Electronic communications

mobile phoneYou can now register to receive communication from the practice regarding appointments and health care electronically by text message on your phone.

To register for this service, you must consent to the practice contacting you by text message for the purposes of health promotion, practice news and for appointment reminders.

Appointment reminders by text are an additional service  that may not be sent on all occasions and it is the responsibility of the patient to attend appointments or cancel them if no longer required.  The message facility can be cancelled at any time.

Text messages are generated using a secure facility but patients should understand that they are transmitted over a public network onto a personal telephone and as such may not be secure, however the practice will not transmit any information which would enable an individual patient to be identified.

If you wish to register for electronic communications please fill out the consent form.
